Stephanie graduated from the McGill University B.Sc. PT program in 2008. She immediately started working in Southern Ontario in a private physiotherapy practice while attending the University of Toronto for her Master's in Physical Therapy degree. Upon earning the degree, Stephanie moved to Switzerland, gaining experience in both hospital/acute-care and sports physiotherapy practice settings. She recently returned to permanently join the team at Evergreen. Stephanie has attended many continuing education courses and programs in Manual Therapy, Neurodynamics, Back Rehabilitation as well as others. In Europe, Stephanie completed the Clinical Psycho Neuro Immunology (CPNI) program which gives her an in-depth understanding of the many different factors that may influence the healing of injuries or chronic inflammatory conditions. This background allows her to teach her clients how to successfully manage their acute and chronic injuries or conditions. Since January 2022, Stephanie is happy to call the Kootenays her new home and will spend much of her free time enjoying the outdoors
Erin is a graduate from the University of Alberta M.Sc. PT program and also has a B.Sc. in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary. While completing her undergraduate degree she also played on the University of Calgary Dinos basketball team for five years competing at nationals two of those seasons, and represented Canada at the FISU Summer World University Games in 2019 in Naples Italy.
Growing up skiing, biking, competing in track and field, and playing high level basketball, she sustained several injuries of her own and quickly learned to appreciate the role physical therapy and injury prevention could play in athlete well-being and longevity. She completed her Masters at the University of Alberta with placement work experience in private practice clinics including an exchange in Sydney Australia, a paediatric outpatient clinic, a chronic pain clinic, a workers compensation clinic, and community geriatric hospital care.
Erin employs a whole person client-centred approach to physiotherapy collaborating with her clients to understand their unique goals and needs. She combines specific exercise programs, education, and manual therapy to address the root cause of injuries and help clients build the strength and confidence to get back to doing what they love most.
In her free time she can be found adventuring in the Kootenays skiing, biking, running, climbing, and enjoying the outdoors.
